I love tea.  By the end of the day, our kitchen sink is filled with teacups and mugs.  I'm almost as bad as Annie on the TV show Being Human.  If you don't get the reference and love drinking tea, look it up!  ;P   I thought my allergies were bothering me, but apparently we've had lots of dust visiting Alabama all the way from the Sahara Desert.  (That's why our sunsets have been spectacular lately.) This painting is 6" X 6" X 1 3/8" oil on gallery wrapped oil primed linen, and it can be purchased HERE.

We love tomatoes so much we actually grow them during the summer, and I love the ones that are a deeper red and not as orange.  One of my favorite color combinations is red and turquoise, so I couldn't resist pairing the little turquoise bottle and French wine tumbler with this vibrant tomato.  This painting is 6" X 6" X 1 3/8" oil on gallery wrapped oil primed linen, and it can be purchased HERE.

I love pears, but I'm the only one in my family who does...so I rarely buy them.  And when I do buy them I usually buy more than I can eat.  When I bought this beauty, I only bought two since I would be the only one eating them.  My favorite is baked brie with pears.  YUM!  This painting is 6" X 6" X 1 3/8" oil on gallery wrapped oil primed linen, and it can be purchased HERE.

The color of red apples is so "appealing" to me, and this one had a little bit of pink in it.  The folds in this linen napkin were a little challenging because it had been ironed stiff as a board!  I iron almost everything.  Ironing is my very favorite chore;  I watch HGTV while I iron.  This painting is a 6" X 6" X 3/8" oil on artist board, and you can purchase it HERE.

Lady Grey tea is so soothing, and it's even better with lemon!  This little mug is in the MacKenzie-Childs Piccadilly pattern.  How do you take your tea?  This paintint is 6" X 6" X 1 3/8" oil on gallery wrapped oil primed linen.  UPDATE: SOLD

I love the color of Granny Smith apples, and they make the best tarts because they retain their shape well during cooking.  I also love complimentary colors, especially red and green!  This painting is oil on 6" X 6" X 1/2" oil on artist board, and you can purchase it HERE.

We collect MacKenzie-Childs, so our pieces will probably appear in many of my daily paintings to come.  This one was fun to paint. I had an abundance of natural light streaming into my art studio in addition to another light illuminating my still life stage; hence, the abundance of highlights in this daily painting!  It's 6" X 6" by 1 3/8" oil on gallery wrapped oil primed linen.  UPDATE: SOLD

I enjoyed painting this little painting, and I even like the khaki colored napkin the tomato and lime are sitting on...I also had fun with local color in this one, too.  These two went on to star in homemade salsa for taco night.  This painting is 6" X 6" X 1 3/8" oil on oil primed gallery-wrapped linen, and you can purchase it HERE
